The Sebastians present "Bach to Bach: Brandenburg Concerti and Orchestral Suites"
Our grand season finale juxtaposes the Italian virtuosity of Bachs Brandenburg concerti with the French elegance of his Orchestral Suitesback to back. Rarely performed together, these magnificent works reveal two sides of Bachs musical personality and feature an exceptional variety of instrumental colors: seductive flute, playful oboes and bassoon, majestic hunting horns, exhilarating harpsichord, and even the brilliant violino piccolo, played by our own in-house specialist, founding director Daniel S. Lee.
