Haley Johnsen has been on tour across the nation with the Wind & the Wave, Gabriel Wolfchild & The Northern Light and Sawyer Frederick and is coming home to do this special Album release show at her favorite venue, The Old Church!

Haley Johnsen is not one to miss: she is a one-of-a-kind voice with gusto and soul, mesmerizing presence, and a six-piece band to prove it. One of the Pacific Northwest's most individual up-and-coming acts, her sound is strong, percussive, and inviting, with impeccably crafted lyrics of a strong woman with an affected but unbreakable heart. Over the last few years, Haley has earned local and national attention and has taken her shows up to eleven with her versatile rock band. 2014 saw the release of Through the Blue, a seven-track EP that grapples with the process of love lost and life thereafter. 2016 gave the release of her soul inspiring single, "Feel the Water," which has been given local airplay on KINK.FM and Portland Radio Project. Haleys newest EP When You Lit the Sky was successfully funded by her fans through Kickstarter.

"When You Lit The Sky is melodic journey through my own interpersonal feelings of longing.  Longing to be better. Longing to be farther along, or back in a time where I felt stronger, safer, more confident, more FREE. Somewhere else, someone else, anywhere but here and now. That place can be either physical or mental. It can be a battle with temptation, or a longing for blissful distraction to escape the pain of my own self-induced pressure. It can be working through that self-doubt and fear that keeps me from tapping into my most creative and authentic self. I want everyone to discover that within themselves, and realize that its all worth fighting for. Its the coming terms with my struggles with anxiety and depression. The inner fight to find my own light and overcome the darkness that comes with such a battle, all the while realizing that these feelings are necessary for my own personal growth.

My hope is that by sharing my own raw and honest emotions that describe this feeling that I can allow others to feel less alone in the shadows of their own mind as well. So much of my life, I have dimmed my light by not working through or expressing these very real emotions. I feel that it is my duty as a songwriter and singer to voice these issues in hopes of inspiring others to keep fighting. To not let the darkness or fear rule their lives. To realize that they will move through this just as I have, knowing that they are just where they need to be in their journey. Finding their way back to when they lit the sky, or when they finally will."

"Haley Johnsen has a flair for the dramatic. While she can definitely get a crowd dancing, some of her most commanding songs are slow-building, folk-pop cuts that place her powerful, bewitching voice front and center. -Chris Young, Vortex Magazine

"Dynamically powerful vocals matched with heartfelt songwriting are the hallmarks of Haley Johnsen's craft. She seamlessly blends vintage vibes and modern pop sensibility into her music.() Haley Johnsen is one my most requested artists.".- Luke
