California Wine Dinner Featuring Lancaster Estate with Wine Maker David Drake
Lancaster Estate and Roth Estate are both family owned wineries in Alexander Valley making highly rated Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Lancaster Estate's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon received 91 points by Robert Parker and is the highlight and final wine of the dinner!
We're honored to have Lancaster's winemaker David Drake join us for this exquisite dinner. David was raised in Alexandria, VA and was introduced to wine at a very young age meeting Ernest Gallo through his father's work. After graduating from Sonoma State University with a Fine Arts degree, his interest in the wine surrounding him finally intrigued him. He started at Lancaster Estate in 2000 as a harvest intern before working his way up to winemaker!
