Rock the Pint

Surround yourself with the flavors and sounds of Southern Illinois at Rock the Pint!

Southern Illinois breweries are taking over the taps at Hangar 9 in Carbondale for a celebration of locally grown bands and brews. The Jenny Johnson Band headlines this rocking party and Hey Honey kicks off the music at 6.

You'll find beers brewed just for this occasion! The taps will feature 11 local creations including two experimental ciders from Appleknocker; a collaborative effort between Abbey Ridge and Scratch (a portion of proceeds benefit Abbey Ridge employees displaced by a recent fire); an anniversary commemorative imperial stout from Altons Old Bakery Brewing (Illinois organic brewery); and an inaugural grisette (a Belgian style ale historically brewed to quench the miners thirst) from White Rooster Farmhouse Brewery, Southern Illinois newest microbrewery in Sparta, IL.
