Beginning Ukulele - with Amy Friedricks
Experience the fun and accessibility of this little musical wonder. Using classic folk/rock repertoire beginners will learn a handful of essential chords and strums and lots of songs

Intermediate Level
Jug Band and Blues - with Janet Lenore
American Blues music is much more (and sometimes less) than a basic 12-bar pattern. And what does it mean to play a 12 bar blues song anyway? Well dig into this expansive musical genre to uncover a few of these musical diamonds in the rough. Some songs are timeless, some crept into the rock and roll charts when they were discovered in the 60s, and some are just plain fun to play.

Advanced Beginner Level
Rhythm & Strumswith Janet Lenore
Every song sits on a rhythmic bedrock. We will take a look at some of the most common rhythmic patterns and pay special attention to the ways songs start. Well explore strumming techniques that will enable you to play faster without actually wearing yourself out.

Advanced Intermediate Level
All You Need Is... Three Chords with Amy Friedricks
Unlock the secrets of the basic chord pattern in many folk/rock/bluegrass/blues/country songs:I - IV - V. Just a smidgen of theory and lots of playing in class will help your ears recognize this crucial element of music. This will rock your world....and then you'll be able to rock that jam!
