Intro to Local Plant Medicine: Early Spring Plants
Early spring brings a unique set of plants, some of which disappear as the season progresses. Come join us on this two hour walk throughout Carkeek park to learn about how to identify and use some of these special plants.
The walk will go on no matter what the weather, so bring boots, a rain jacket and an umbrella just in case.
Plants that we will likely encounter: Nettles, cleavers, bleeding heart, indian plum, pacific waterleaf, salmon berry and more!
