AFFGS Pool Party!
Please join Adoptive Friends & Families of Greater Seattle (AFFGS) for our annual Pool Party! This year, we are EXPANDING OUR SWIM TIME TO 2 HOURS in the pool.
Date: Sunday, April 30
Time: 4:00-7:30 pm
Place: Federal Way Community Center, 876 S. 33rd St., Federal Way, WA 98003
About: Join us for 2 hours of swimming (4:05-6:05 pm) followed by a potluck feast. This wonderful pool has a large shallow area perfect for babies, toddlers and reluctant swimmers. The pool also has two-story water slide for swimmers 48 inches and taller. We've rented the ENTIRE POOL plus an extra large party room for socializing and eating for parents and kids afterward.
AFFGS is providing a main dish (pizza) and dessert (a cake to celebrate AFFGS's 20th Birthday!). Based on your last name, families please bring (1) salads/veggies, (2) fruit, (3) drinks, or (4) snacks. (see last name chart below).
What to Bring: Towels, swim suits, googles PLUS if your LAST NAME begins with:
A - F: Salads G - L: Fruit M -S: Drinks T - Z: Snacks
Cost: FREE for members. $30 per family for non-members. If you join AFFGS at or before the pool party, your $30 can be part of your membership dues for 2017. Dues are just $35 for 1 year, $60 for 2 years, or $85 for 3 years. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, 100% volunteer supported. The pool party is also AFFGS's annual meeting, so you can learn about what is in store for AFFGS for the rest of 2017.
We can't wait to see everyone! Please check the Federal Way Community Center's website for details on infants/toddlers and swim requirements (swim diaper plus special cover.)
