Kritzerland Entertainment Presents The Songs of Rupert Holmes

You'll be dazzled by the amazing songs of the amazing Rupert Holmes. Mr. Holmes burst on the scene in the early 1970s with his brilliant album: Widescreen, followed by many others, all of which were equally brilliant. He also worked with Barbra Streisand on her album Lazy Afternoon, for which he not only arranged and conducted, but contirubted four songs. He also worked with Streisand on her film version of A Star Is Born, and several of her other albums.

His breakout hit was Escape (The Pina Colada Song). Hes also written songs for Dolly Parton, Barry Manilow, Dionne Warwick and many others. Several of his songs were frequent chart toppers on Billboard. Holmes also wrote the Broadway musical Drood, for which he won two Tony Awards; and he wrote the books for the musicals Curtains and The First Wives Club; and such plays as Accomplice, Solitary Confinement, and Say Goodnight, Gracie. He created the beloved TV show Remember WENN, and recently adapted the John Grisham novel, A Time to Kill for the stage. He wrote the book and lyrics for The Nutty Professor, Marvin Hamlischs last show. He is also an accomplished novelist.
