Guys and Dolls
Set in Damon Runyon's depression-era New York City, GUYS AND DOLLS is an oddball romantic comedy about a couple of big-city gamblers and the women they love. Released in 1950 and revered by many as the perfect musical comedy, GUYS AND DOLLS tells the overlapping story of high-roller Sky Masterson, who falls for the straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown and the lovable rapscallion Nathan Detroit, engaged for 14 years to showgirl Miss Adelaide.
NEW THIS YEAR! We are so pleased to offer an additional Saturday matinee performance, which is an ideal option for families with children under 8 years old.
PARKING at Roosevelt High School is minimal. Please try to carpool and be respectful of our neighbors when you park.
NO LATE SEATING after the performance begins. REALLY, NO LATE SEATING.
TIPS FOR NIGHT: 1) Arrive EARLY, by 7pm, to find parking (very hard to find spots) 2) To get in and eat something from our gorgeous homemade foods concession stand 3) Find your seats 4) BE SEATED 2 minutes before your curtain (Friday night, 7:30sharp, Sat Matinee, 2:00sharp, Saturday night, 7:30sharp)
RUN TIME: 2.5 HOURS, including a 15 minute intermission.
Last Tip: If purchasing for Saturday night show, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT ACCIDENTALLY BUY FOR SATURDAY MATINEE. Such a tough thing to change. Please be careful :) Thanks!
