Cider School: Single Varietal Ciders
Most ciders are blends of several different apple varieties, to balance for sugar, acid and tannin. Every so often, cider makers will spotlight one particular variety, illustrating the role it plays in other blends. In this class we will feature varieties such as Northern Spy, Wickson, and Baldwin apples building up to how apples fit together in a blend.
