Special Offer: Festival Double Feature - Saturday, March 18

Welcome to Seattle's March Is Cabaret Month Festival 2017!

This DISCOUNTED double-feature ticket buys you a seat for back-to-back shows, featuring two performers at 7 pm and a different two performers at 9 pm. (There will be a half-hour break from 8:30 to 9.)

Here's the lineup for Saturday, March 18!

MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents:
MARCUS WOLLAND & CAROLYN MAGOON in "TWYLA & EDDIE: DOIN' IT THEIR WAY!"

Atlantic City and Vegas denizens Twyla Davenport and Eddie Moonglow crisscross the country in wing tips and heels, appearing everywhere from The Sand Spurs in Tallahassee to Bobbys Beehive in Burien. At the Blacktop Diner in Des Moines, they take a couple of nights off to crawl up the I-5 for some sophisticated singing and boisterous banter. Let Twyla and Eddie transport you to an era where glamour was second nature, and vintage was a good wine!

MARCUS WOLLAND

Marcus Wolland has been entertaining cabaret audiences in Washington, California and Nevada for many years. He is also a musical theatre performer, having recently appeared in productions of Mack & Mabel at SecondStory Repertory and Spring Awakening at 12th Avenue Arts. In addition, he is lead singer and keyboardist for local B-52s tribute band Hot Lava.

CAROLYN MAGOON

Excited to be back for her 4th stint with MICM, Carolyn has been working in Seattle and regionally for over two decades. Some favorites have been Gypsy at the 5th Avenue and several shows at Village Theatre and ACT. A favorite gig was working in the Caribbean as a production singer for Carnival Cruise Lines. Carolyn can be seen around town with the B-52s tribute band, Hot Lava. She is excited to bring Twyla Davenport out of retirement for this very special evening.

MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents:
ANGIE LOUISE & LAWANDA DuPREE in "STICKY AND SWEET!"

Sultry songwriter-chanteuse Angie Louise and irrepressible Miz LaWanda DuPree join forces for an unholy candy-land night of New Orleans jazz, funk and sass! Featuring boisterous backing band The Lou'siana Gators, with John Engerman (piano); David Marriott Jr. (trombone); Todd Gowers (bass guitar); and Ed Littlefield (drums).

ANGIE LOUISE

As frontwoman and songwriter for the Weimar Berlin-influenced band The Love Markets, Angie's record releases include BEAUTY FACTORY (2016) and WORLD OF YOUR DREAMS (2013). A member of Actors' Equity, she's performed principal roles for The 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, Theatre Under The Stars (Houston), Ordway (St. Paul), and AMT San Jose. Screen credits include two award-winning feature films as screenwriter, songwriter, and actress. This spring you can see Angie performing on TV's ArtZone; at Town Hall with Sandbox Radio; in concert as Molly Brown at Benaroya; and with The Love Markets in cirque-variete series Burlesco Notturno. "A singer, songwriter and actress with fearsome chops." - City Arts

Miz DuPree has appeared at The Rendezvous, Re-Bar, Can Can, Theater Off Jackson, and the Phinney Center. She has also served as emcee for such events as Tacoma's First Night New Year's Celebration and the Center for Sex-Positive Culture's auction fundraiser for the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival.

Doors for the double feature open at 6:30 pm.

See you at Egan's!
