Here's the lineup for Friday, March 10!

MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents:
KATE LOITZ in "BOTH SIDES NOW"

Songs of the '60s: Is it time for a folk revival? Perhaps. Those turbulent times have much to tell us today. Join Bistro Award winner Kate Loitz for an evening of 1960s songs by Judy Collins, Tom Paxton, Joni Mitchell, Buffy St. Marie, Woody Guthrie and Washingtons own Chad Mitchell Trio.

KATE LOITZ

Kate moved to Seattle last year after a career in cabaret and theatre in New York. In 2006, she won the Backstage Bistro Award as outstanding vocalist. Building a new community in Seattle has been exciting and rewarding. Kate is a proud member of Actors' Equity.

MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents:
THE SIRENS OF SWING in "Still Swingin' After All These Years"

Karen Kay Cody, Joanne Klein and Jayne Muirhead reunite in their tribute to the infectious, swingin' sounds of classic vocal trios such as the Boswell Sisters.

THE SIRENS OF SWING

Sirens of Swing features three of Seattle's cabaret luminaries - Karen Kay Cody, Joanne Klein and Jayne Muirhead - with music direction by John Engerman. First produced in the '90s, their tributes to the infectious sounds of classic vocal trios such as the Boswell Sisters and the Andrews Sisters were hit shows at the Cabaret de Paris. With lush harmonies and jive rhythms, they take audiences on a musical journey back to the 1930s and '40s full of sass and romance. Additional original arrangements of tunes such as "Moonglow" and "Sheik of Araby" make this a musical evening to remember.

MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents:
CHARLES CROWLEY in "Waters Of March: A Latin Celebration"

Join Charles the Cosmopolitan Crooner (and his alter ego, Charles the Clever Clarinetist) for a tribute to Latin artists and their music  from Cuba to Brazil, from mambo to bossa nova. With keyboardist/diva Susan Bardsley and a surprise special guest or two. ¡Vamonos de fiesta!

CHARLES CROWLEY

Charles has performed for close to 30 years at such Seattle area stages as Village Theatre, Seattle Musical Theatre and Skagit Opera. Favorite roles include Reverend Crisparkle in Drood, Captain Corcoran in HMS Pinafore, and Doctor von Whackoff in Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens. Cabaret performances include Dirty Little Showtunes! at Rebar, Take Me Along at the Jewelbox, and three recent installments of March Is Cabaret Month. About 15 years ago, he rediscovered his first childhood musical love, the clarinet; he has gone on to include it in his cabaret shows, and performs in many orchestral and chamber ensembles.

MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents:
GRETCHEN RUMBAUGH in "Comes Love"

Gretchen Rumbaugh shares heartfelt musings and songs of everyday life, love, and laughter with theatrical and jazz arrangements.

GRETCHEN RUMBAUGH

Gretchen has played real-life women as diverse as Mae West, Patsy Cline, Leona Helmsley, and Ann Landers in the format of the One-Woman Show. She also created the role of Wendy in the original Seattle production of the world-wide hit ANGRY HOUSEWIVES. For four years in Portland, Gretchen created, co-produced and hosted the professional singer showcase CABARET CHANTEUSE at Tony Starlight's Supperclub. Now residing in Ashland, Oregon, this summer she will play the title role in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre.

Doors for the double feature open at 6:30 pm.

See you at Egan's!

*Egan's requests a $10 minimum purchase (food or drink) per patron per show.
