Willkommen 2013 in a blaze of sequins, guitars and umlauts
DANK Haus German American Cultural Center mixes the rocking madness of The Polkaholics with a traditional German flaming punch and German bubbly to make your New Year's Eve one to remember.
Arrive early for a demonstration and tasting of Feuerzangenbowle, or flaming tongs punch, where a sugar cone is soaked in rum and lit on fire to melt over a spiced wine. While the cone burns, the party gathers and warm conversation ensues.
Food & Beverage:
1/2 Liter Bier $6
Glass of Wein $6
German Bubbly $20 per 750 mL bottle
Pretzel - $2
Landjaeger - $3 (spicy dried beef sausage)
This event is Monday December 31 at 9:00 pm.
Early bird tickets are $10.00 for the first 200 guests, then only $15.00 thereafter.
Attendees must be 21 years and older
