Bobby Zoppi - Lead Vocals
Bobby has been a lead singer/songwriter for many years. He has had 3 major recording contracts in the music business starting with Qwest/Warner Brothers Records
in the 90's, Warner/Chappel publishing and MCA/Universal records in 2000. He was nationally recognized by Billboard magazine for his voice and MCA debut record.
Bobby had a single that was on the radio in various markets around the country and has continued to hone his voice.Bobby's current project "The Corduroys" is
rooted in Bobbys early roots in country music. He grew up listening to the likes of George Jones, Randy Travis, George Straight but has also been influence by
Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts and is currently a big fan of Floridia Georgia Line, Kenny Chesney, Luke Brian amongst others. The Corduroys perform many
of the old school hits as well as current country/rock on the radio and a few originals...
Bret "Flash" Blackburn - Drums
With almost 30 years of musical experience, Flash has made a recognizable name for himself in Northern California as a straightforward, hard-hitting drummer, with a professional work ethic. Bret has played in multiple local rock bands (both of the original and cover variety) and has shared the stage with some of musics greatest artists including Zakk Wylde of Ozzy Osborne, Black Label Society, and Jeff Keith and Frank Hannon of Tesla. He has performed in front of all size of crowds ranging from 11 to 11,000. After an amazing career of playing venues all over the west coast Bret is now throwing the full weight of his skills and ability behind The Corduroys to make this one powerhouse all star unit.
Dennis Becker - Guitar / Vocals
Dennis Becker is a well seasoned touring artist, always with a love of counrty music and now finally making the move to pursue that love full time in The Corduroys. Dennis has played stages with many national superstars like: Tesla, Bon Jovi, BluesTraveler, Robbie Krieger (The Doors), System of a Down, Eddie Money, Montrose, Frank Hannon Band, Stephen Pearcys Arcade, Five for Fighting, Oleander, Cake, Lit, Moon Dog Mane, Gary Hoey and many more. Dennis is a talented singer as well, and hits those high harmonies amazingly, rounding out The Corduroys vocal sound.
John Gormley - Bass Guitar / Vocals
John Gormley (Johnny G.) is a professional musician that has been performing throughout California and Nevada since the mid 80's. His heavy bass grooves are what drive the low end of The Corduroys. Also a singer, he has added his vocal ability as well as stage presence to the powerful line-up of The Corduroys.
Bret Bingham - Guitar/Vocals
Bret Bingham began playing guitar at the age of twelve, honing his skills on the music of the Beatles. By his early 20s, Bret was writing music and had joined the West Coast Songwriters Association (previously Northern California Songwriters Association). A self-produced CD of originals followed which caught the ear of Marc Ferrari (MasterSource/UMPG). Brets music has appeared on Access Hollywood, Fox's Brimstone, E True Hollywood Story and MTV's Made. Bret enjoys bringing his melodic style of guitar playing to the The Corduro
