Kellye Gray presents SOUL COMFORT
Jazz vocal artist, Kellye Gray brings her southern touch to everything she sings. Be prepared to be uplifted but also be brought to your knees. Better than a heaping helping of your favorite comfort food. Joining her in the kitchen are pianist Adam Shulman and drummer Lorca Hart. Gray manages to cook up an evening worth remembering. As JazzTimes Magazine says about Kellye Gray, "Think of a layer cake with a dense Carmen McRae center, iced with swoops, dollops and occasionally wide swatches of Nancy Wilson and Billie Holiday, then dotted with Etta James bluesiness and Tina Turner wail.
