Berks Choir Games Absolute A Capella Main Stage Featuring Street Corner Symphony joined by Yale's Red Hot and Blue
The Berks Choir Games (BCG) was created by the Reading Choral Society in 2014 as a festival to share, inspire, and celebrate the continued love and creation of excellent and diverse choral music both locally and internationally. This years theme is Absolute A Cappella, focusing in on the power of the human voice in its purest form.
In 2017 we will highlight a variety of diverse a cappella ensembles, both in size, genre, and scope of performance. BCG 2017 will include our Main Stage event at the Abe Lincoln Ballroom on Friday, March 10, 2017. It will also include a side-by-side educational workshop between collegiate and high school a cappella groups followed by an Afternoon of A Cappella at the WCR Center for the Arts on Saturday, March 11th at 3:00 PM. Additional pop-up events will take place in downtown Reading the week surrounding the main events.
