Lo-tech Mushroom Cultivation Techniques class at Landis Valley

Kenny Point and William Padilla-Brown will discuss mushroom cultivation for home growers. The presentation will include both the indoor cultivation of mushrooms using recycled materials such as coffee grounds, newspaper or straw as well as the outdoor cultivation of mushrooms on hardwoods, logs, and wood scraps. Mushroom varieties will include oyster, shitake, and garden giants.
