Ben Bedford concert

A "movable" Flying Cat Concert, hosted at Carriage House Concerts; 1410 N. Delaware, Indianapolis, IN 46202 at the Propylaeum.

A true son of the heartland, Ben Bedford is a troubadour and songwriter, dipping into the deep inkwell of classic American literature and historical themes that have modern resonance. Ben writes with the old soul quality of his literary idols, and sings with the spark of his musical idols. Touring extensively in North America and Europe, Ben Bedford's music is reaching new fans through concerts and radio programs. In July of 2010, Bedford was named one of the 50 most significant Folk singer-songwriters of the past 50 years by Rich Warren of WFMT-Chicago. The list also included such stalwarts as Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, Anais Mitchell and John Prine. We are very happy to host Ben Bedford in Indianapolis for this special concert.

ABOUT THE INDIANAPOLIS PROPYLAEUM
The Propylaeum is located in Indy's old northside neighborhood. It includes an 1890 Victorian House and Carriage House that are listed on the National Register of Historic Landmarks. Concerts are held in the Carriage House behind and south of the mansion. The Carriage House is an intimate venue holding up to 130 people, and there's not a bad seat in the house. Seating is general admission.

Enter the free parking lot off Delaware Street, immediately north of the mansion. Free street parking is also available.
