TRU Teaching Practices Colloquium 2017
Students of Today and Tomorrow
The Teaching Practices Colloquium is a chance for faculty to come together to learn from each other and to share our knowledge and experience about teaching. This year, our focus is on the students of today and tomorrow. The world is changing rapidly, and so are our students. As educators, how do we reimagine and redefine the ways that we teach to meet students evolving needs and expectations? How do we rethink commonly accepted notions of academic community to rework new possibilities for social, political, and economic reorganization? How should we incorporate technology and interdisciplinary approaches into our teaching? What roles do internationalization, indigenization, and sustainability play in shaping curriculum?
We invite you to come to TRUs 13th annual Teaching Practices Colloquium and share your stories, ideas, and successful practices. Take time to reflect on your own teaching and learning and connect with others.
**Late registration will be available at the door of TPC (outside of the Clock Tower Theatre) on Feb 20th, 8am to 10am, cost $30.00 cash or cheque.
