Meet Director Billy Clift: Baby Jane? A Pre-Thanksgiving Event!
Meet The Director:
Billy Clift, a Hollywood native, started his career as a Make-up and Hair man for the fashion, film, television and Music Video industry. In 2006 he decided to follow his life long dream of becoming a director, writer and produced his first short film, The Fairy Tale, soon after a documentary, The Pure Eccentrics; San Francisco. This led to his first feature film Baby Jane? shot on a shoestring budget, receiving rave reviews from Variety, Fangoria and the Examiner to name a few. Baby Jane?, released by Ariztical. Next wrote, directed and produced I Want To Get Married, released by Breaking Glass Pictures globally. Hush Up Sweet Charlotte is Billy newest release, starring a cast of cult icons ( Mink Stole, Varla Jean Merman). Release by HERE MEDIA in February 2016, on all the VOD platforms. Billy has finished the shirt film MONTY, a short bio pic on his cousin Montgomery Clift and is in pre production for Dead Dead Dead Ringer, that will be the end to his Bette Davis triolgy. Summer of 2017 he expects to start the feature film Many: An American Tradgey.

"Baby Jane?" Storyline:
Two twisted sisters live in their own self-made hell. Baby Jane? takes its cue from the original cult classic starring Bette Davis and Joan Crawford...but continually takes the audience down unexpected twists and turns. The film begins with Baby Jane as a famous brat child star, then transitions to her failed attempt at becoming a big fat movie star like her sister Blanche until a tragic gate accident makes Blanche's spine...kinda snap. Baby Jane gives up her career to take care of her disabled sister, waiting on her hand and foot, every gawd damn day! Until one day, Baby Jane has had enough! We watch her slowly unravel, taking it out on her poor disabled sister Blanche, the housekeeper Elvira (Blanche's secret "special friend"), the nosey neighbor Mrs. Bates and her ding dong daughter, Gloria. All through this, Blanche plays the victim role when in actuality she is just a manipulating bitch!
