Josh Dumbleton, Organist

A native of Oklahoma City, OK, Mr. JoshDumbletonserves as Interim Director of Music & Worship Arts Ministries and Associate Director of Music/Organist at Edenton StreetUnited Methodist Church in Raleigh, NC. Mr.Dumbletonis a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, The University of Texas at Austin, and is currently pursuing the Doctoral of Music Arts in Organ Performance degree at UNC Greensboro. Throughout the course of his education, Josh has had the privilege of participating in and winning several competitions in organ performance including the College Division of The Albert Schweitzer Organ Competition (2ndplace), The Region VII American Guild of Organists (A.G.O.) Organ Competition for Young Organists (2ndplace), the Graduate Division of The William C. Hall Organ Competition in San Antonio, Texas (2005), and the Rodgers North American Classical Organ Competition (2012).In 2011, Mr.Dumbletonwas pleased to release a new recording of Marcel Duprè's "The Stations of the Cross." It was recorded on Edenton Street United Methodist Church's magnificent 97-rank Lètourneau Pipe Organ.
