An Evening with the Matt Flinner Trio

Come out for an intimate evening of great music, great food, and great beer. Your ticket incudes a seat in the brewery to watch The Matt Flinner Trio play in front of the brewing tanks along with dinner and dessert provided by Buzzard's Bay Barbeque. Its sure to be a wonderful way to see one of the premier New Acoustic Ensembles in the world.

The doors open at 6:30 with dinner being served buffet-style at 7:00. At 8:00 the concert begins. During the set break, dessert will be served, once again buffet-style. After dessert the Trio will come back for their final set.

Mandolinist Matt Flinner, guitarist Ross Martin and bassist Eric Thorin cover a wide variety of musical stylesall with the common ground of American roots music. Bluegrass, jazz and old-time music are all present here in their ways, along with a dose of classical chamber music composition and arrangement, as the members all draw from their wide array of musical loves, experiences and influences. These influences boil down into the trios own organic sound of New Acoustic music, or Modern String Band music, or Chamber Grass (music is getting harder and harder to label these days, isnt it?). Whatever label you put on it, it is guaranteed to be fresh and original, and definitely something youve never quite heard before.
