Master Gardener and garden advice columnist, Celeste Lindsay will give a one-hour talk and demonstration on fall clean-up in the garden - preparing for winter. You will take away tips on:
How to prune different types of perennials
When best to prune
Which perennials are better left until spring
After the talk participants will provide 1.5 hours of maintenance (weeding, pruning) in the demonstration gardens.
There will be time to ask questions, and Master Gardeners will be on hand to assist.
Dress appropriately for the weather. Water and tools are provided.
