Sans Limites Dance Fall Season 2016 (Split-Bill Series)
Sans Limites Dance is presenting the works of Emerging, Mid-Career & Established Choreographers/Companies from November 17th -20th at Hudson Guild; a 99-seat, modern proscenium arch theatre located in Chelsea, NYC.

Inspired by the Duncan quote, "You were once wild here, don't let them tame you", SLD showcases innovative works that aim to push past the definitions that currently define/confine dance. You will see works that break down barriers and redefine dance forms through unique choreographic visions; ranging from highly technical/athletic dance to gesture/performance-art based movement.

ABOUT Aaron Atkins & Ballet Inc.
Ballet Inc. was founded in 2012 by Executive Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer Aaron Atkins and Former Executive Director Edgar Peterson III . Aaron and Edgar felt that there was a need for diversity within the dance community that appeared to only celebrate artist of very specific backgrounds and skillsets. Ballet Inc.s mission is currently home to a company of 17 freelance artist whom all represent many backgrounds and talents. Ballet Inc. has performed at 50 national artist cultural exchange festivals along the East coast and has been acknowledged internationally for its mission and work since its inaugural season in 2012.


ABOUT Laura Henry & Impact Movement Collective
Founded by Artistic Director Laura Henry with Rehearsal Director Aly Giampolo, Impact Movement Collective is a collaboration among artists using dance, drama, and energetic contemporary movement as a means to explore unique perspectives on life and express the shared human experience. Over the past year, the company has developed a particular interest in bridging the gap between literature and dance while creating work that can be appreciated by a diverse audience. Since it's creation in 2014, Impact Movement Collective has presented at St. Mark's Church, Harlem Repertory Theater, Jamaica Performing Arts Center, Chen Dance Center and Hudson Guild Theater. Impact has also produced several benefit concerts throughout NYC, helping provide scholarships to over 16 girls in underprivileged countries through charity partnerships. ABOUT Grazia Capri
GRAZIA CAPRI began working as a choreographer in 2008 and won artistic residencies in Paris, London and Berlin. Her work explores the interconnections between the body and space, an intimate and poetic dialogue set in an expressionist and surrealist dimensions. Grazia Capri is a performer and choreographer trained in ballet and in the techniques of Martha Graham and Merce Cunningham at the International Dancers Centre in Rome.Grazia has worked with many contemporary choreographers including Milena Zullo, Alessandra Luberti, Luca Bruni, Boris Tonïn, Danzacompagnia, Mark Baldwin (Teatro dell'Opera di Roma), Balletto di Sardegna, and Patricia Alzetta among others.
In 2008 Grazia established her company in Paris. Her performances have been well-received in Europe and in the US. Grazia studied with David Zambrano, Fray Faust, Ted Stoffer, Martin Kravitz, Norio Yoshida, and Antony Basile.In Italy, she obtained a Master Degree in Arts Performance at  the Department of Art, Music, and Performance (D.A.M.S.), University of Bologna. In 2009, she got a postgraduate degree in Benesh Movement Notation (analisys and functionality of movement) at the National Superior Conservatory of Dance and Music in Paris.Grazia is also a certified yoga teacher by YogaWorks, New York.


ABOUT Rebekka Nodhurft & Awaken Dance Theater
With renewed inspiration to create works concerning social justice, Nodhturft officially created Awaken Dance Theater in March 2014.  Awaken Dance Theater's second major work, Only in America, addresses the tragedy of school shootings and the need for increased gun control in the United States. UNPLUGGED satirizes society's addiction to technology, while In His Grip, illustrates the unspeakable pain of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Other issues that Awaken Dance Theater would like to explore further include climate change, sustainable development, corruption in government, unsafe and selfish capitalistic practices, health care and education, feminism and reproductive rights, LGBT rights, the rights of the disabled, eating disorders and other psychological disorders.


ABOUT Victoria Robinchaud
Victoria Robichaud is originally from Amesbury, MA and currently resides in Brooklyn. She graduated from NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study in 2016 where she studied fashion, psychology and dance. She is a member of the improv performance group Trio Z with Alice Lambert and Jacqueline Ledesma as well as vic + renda with Brendan Leonard. Victoria has performed at the Jerry H. Labowitz Theatre, Frederick Loewe Theatre, Dance Research Forum of Ireland Conference, Triskelion Arts, and Movement Research. In addition to pursuing her own choreography that merges her loves of fashion, dance, and performance art Victoria works at Condé Nast as an Executive Assistant.
