Create the Magic Workshop Session

Did you know that Bellingrath's famous Magic Christmas in Lights is designed and crafted right here in Alabama? All set pieces and scenes are hand-made and installed by Bellingrath's staff to design this award-winning display that creates a holiday tradition unlike any other. Get behind the scenes of the 2016 season with our talented magic makers and learn how to create a Christmas set piece for your home.

Bellingrath Gardens and Home offers a workshop session for guests to explore the art of Christmas light tying while crafting a breathtaking Christmas tree that will for sure surprise your visitors this holiday season! In this three-hour long hands-on workshop you will learn how to tie LED-lights to a metal frame, previously welded by our designers. The Christmas tree is approximately three feet tall and glows bright green.

Our popular Gift Shop will be open and stocked with Christmas merchandise so guests may find that perfect Holiday present. A reception with hot beverages and light snacks is included in the program.

Spaces are limited and require prior registration. Tickets are $25 for members* and $35 for non-members and include entrance to the Gardens for the day. Be sure to reserve your spot today to join us for this one of a kind opportunity!
