Beloved Houston actor, writer and director Steve Garfinkel has adapted the delightful Caldecott Medal winning children's book, Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins by Eric Kimmel, for the stage. Follow the adventures of legendary Jewish trickster, Hershel of Ostropol, as he outsmarts a host of Hanukkahhating goblins, saving the holiday and becoming a hero to the towns inhabitants. Traditional Hanukkah tunes accompany Hershels exploits in this new family-friendly play.
