Singers in Accord will celebrate its 8th concert season, singing Maurice Duruflés Requiem and Yves Castagnet's Messe Bréve conducted by Kathy Saltzman Romey, Director of Choral Activities at the University of Minnesota and Artistic Director of the Minnesota Chorale. Accompanied by award-winning organist, Tom Trenney, the Requiem Mass will be the centerpiece of the concert—a contemplation of peace, light, hope, and rest amid the mystery and struggle of life's journey on Earth. Mr. Trenney is renowned for his imaginative and electric improvisations so each night's concert will be unique.

Join us for this very special experience of reflection, remembrance, and joy!

Also on Saturday: an organ improvisation workshop and masterclass with Tom Trenney, hosted by the American Guild of Organists. It will begin at 9:00 a.m. at St. Olaf Catholic Church; registration will begin at 8:30.

Please visit  www.singersinaccord.org for more information about the concert or the ensemble.

SINGERS IN ACCORD is uniquely structured as a singer-led choral ensemble which collaborates with a new conductor in each concert to create distinctive concert experiences for its audience. The mission of the 55-voice auditioned chorale is to enrich lives and build community through the power of choral music. It strives to enrich the cultural life of Minnesota communities through outreach, education and innovative performances. It is a 501(C) (3) nonprofit corporation that does not employ paid staff.
