Net-Positive Energy

Energy use in buildings has become a focus point in our industry. This course demonstrates how buildings can achieve the ultimate goal, and become Net-Zero positive energy user. Project examples will be used to demonstrate ways Net-Zero Positive Energy can be achieved.

As a Mechanical Engineer and Energy Analyst, Kevin M. Smith applies his passion for sustainability towards performing holistic building energy modeling in order to guide design and optimize building performance. Kevins services span all market sectors, having worked on sustainability projects in the healthcare, commercial, higher education, institutional, R&D, residential, and hospitality industries. In addition to working with Glumac, his background includes providing energy engineering services with a design-build mechanical contractor and with this diverse experience, Kevin is an asset to every project team.
