Joshua Cook is a road weaving, time tumbling, world traveler of a musician who can swing a guitar like a pickaxe and break hearts with a song and a smile. After years of crossing the country and exploring states of his own, Joshua heeded the siren song of California and gave flesh to the skeletal stirrings of his own band, The Key of Now, simmering rock 'n' roll in a hearty soul stew of psych, blues, and folksy wanderlust.
Focused on the fuel that drives us all to connect with comfort, hurt and hope, Joshua Cook & The Key of Now is a band for the floaters, ramblers, and rovers who seek solace among strangers.
