DC EcoWomen Mentor Dinner with Staci Lewis
This dinner is an opportunity for a lucky few DC EcoWomen members to learn from, ask questions of and enjoy the company of Ms. Lewis.
Staci Lewis joined Consortium for Ocean Leadership in August 2009 as the Policy Analyst and is now the Senior Policy Manager. Prior to Ocean Leadership, she worked for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as a Policy Specialist in the NOAA Administrator's Office. Her focus was on climate policy issues, intradepartmental climate and energy activities coordination, and interagency climate partnerships. Staci was also a Knauss Sea Grant Marine Policy Fellow in the Office of the Under Secretary under Vice Admiral Conrad Lautenbacher, the previous NOAA Administrator.
Staci received her Bachelor's degree from Salem College in North Carolina. She then pursued and received a Masters of Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy from George Mason University in Virginia. Her research focused on coral reef disease. She currently continues conducting research on coral disease and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Public Policy at George Mason.
