Arion's second season consists of three concerts presented by some of the finest chamber musicians in the New York area: Efi Hackmey (piano), Adrienne Kim (piano), Vadim Lando (clarinet), Boson Mo (violin), Emily Popham (violin), Inessa Zaretsky (piano), and our Music Director Robert La Rue (cello).
Concerts are on Friday evenings at 7:30 pm, at Christ and St. Stephens Church (120 W. 69th St., between Broadway and Columbus).
November 4th, 2016: clarinet trios, featuring Brahms Trio in A Minor, Op. 114.
February 3rd, 2017: works for violin, cello, piano: duos by Chopin, Martinu, and Ligeti; Mendelssohn Trio in D Minor, Op. 49.
April 21st, 2017: Russian and Russian-influenced music including piano trios by Rachmaninov and Shostakovich.
You are invited to subscribe to the entire series (3 concerts) for $75 at a discount from the price for individual concerts ($30 each). The ticket for the first concert will be issued at the time of purchase: the second and third concert tickets are will-call and can be picked up at the first concert.
