School of Rock Portland Tribute to: Lilith Fair
From 1997-1999, Lilith Fair was an extremely popular traveling music festival that featured amazing female musicians and female-led bands including: Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, The Pretenders, Liz Phair, Janelle Monae, Mary J. Blige, Missy Elliot, Marina and The Diamonds, Sheryl Crow, Sinead O'Connor, Neko Case, Cat Power, Gossip, Metric, the Dixie Chicks and so many more. This show will cover a lot of genres,rock to R&B to pop to indie/punk/country/folk presenting a well rounded challenge for any student on any instrument!! This show will be like playing your favorite mixtape live!
