Back-to-School Blues-n-BBQ
Back-to-school time can be stressful, so our event is a grown-ups-only time to kick back, cool off and enjoy some blues and BBQ.
$25 for concert and BBQ sandwich, one side and bottled water
6 p.m. doors open
6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. show
Bring a lawn chair.
Our special 21-and-over musical event will feature Auburn-Washburn alumni Chris Jake Ridley and Sam Elwood Austin in their Blues Brothers tribute band and dinner by Big Boyz BBQ. Western Hills/Great Life will have a cash bar.
The goal of this event is to bring awareness of the Auburn-Washburn Foundation by gathering supporters and district constituents as well as the general public for an evening of entertainment. All proceeds from the event will go to the Foundation to support classroom grants in our district.
In case of inclement weather, your ticket purchase will be retained as a donation to the Auburn-Washburn Public Schools Foundation.
