Bio: Aymeric Dupré la Tour was appointed Artistic Director by the North Stonington Historical Society in May 2015 to curate the Society's rare 1857 A.H. Gale square grand piano and to create a Parlor Concert Series at the Homestead. Dupré la Tour serves as Director of Music and Organist at First Church Congregational, Fairfield, CT, where he also coordinates the programming for the Music in the Meetinghouse concert series.  He performs and records with the Chamber Orchestra of New York, Ottorino Respighi as a rostered member and soloist.  On April 16 he played with the orchestra at Adelphi University in DEBUSSY, PUCCINI & MAHLER, WITH MARRICONE, featuring souvenirs from films.
Since moving to Eastern Connecticut Dupré la Tour has been involved with several arts organizations such as Mystic River Chorale and Music at St. James, New London. He also organized the Zuckermann Harpsichord Music Festival in 2013 in Stonington, CT.  He is currently touring schools in eastern Connecticut with the Salt Marsh Operas Kids Love Opera outreach program.  He will also be presenting interactive classes to middle school students to introduce and demonstrate the harpsichord.
On March 19, he participated in a day-long event at the First Lutheran Church of Bostons Boston Bach Birthday 331 celebration, playing harpsichord with its Baroque orchestra. Last fall, Dupré la Tour made his Connecticut conducting debut directing choral works by Bach, Fauré, and Paul Knox with the Paul Knox Festival Choir and Orchestra at First Church, Fairfield. Notable recent solo appearances include performances of C.P.E. Bach and Michel Corrette with the Chamber Orchestra of New York at Weill Hall, Carnegie Hall on both harpsichord and organ. Along with his wife Elena Zamolodchikova (also a colleague Artist in Residence at Zuckermann  Harpsichords), he recorded a challenging new composition for two harpsichords, El Puente de las Almas, by contemporary composer Dr. José Beviá at the La Grua Center (available at MSR Classics).
Aymeric Dupré la Tour studied piano in his native Lyon, France, at the Conservatoire National de Région. He earned an Artist Diploma in Organ and a Masters in Historical Performance at Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The Juilliard School.  His solo and   collaborative performances on piano, harpsichord, organ, and celesta have taken him across France, the US, Canada, and South America.
