Cancelled -- Rocky & The Wranglers

Before Roy St. John began hosting the KDHX Morning Show, he had released albums of his original songs in England, published by Pink Floyd Music, the second under the name Klondike Pete & the Huskies. With his co-host Otis Woodard, he formed the Morning Show Band and continued singing at benefits. Since then, and since his return from England where he released a second Klondike Pete album, Roy formed Rocky & the Wranglers with old musical collaborators guitarist John Webb & drummer Toren Jones, playing original material and specializing in the Blues.
With Rocky about to released in England on Rollercoaster Records, Roy, John, and Toren perform an exciting selection of Blues and Americana from the upcoming album with fellow Wranglers David Toretta on bass and Danny Mills on keyboards. The new album will also features a retrospective section that includes a song from the morning Show Band.

Many of the topical and timely songs can be heard and seen on youtube, as well as music from earlier albums. The band's show at Focal Point on July 1st -- promoting their upcoming new CD -- will be a wonderful evening from music-loving professionals, with a sprinkling of special guests. Dancing shoes are advised.
