KSCI Showcase #1

Join us on June 25th at Visitation Catholic Church for our fourth annual KSCI Showcase featuring our two most advanced youth ensembles.

Kantorei KC hosts a week of rehearsals, lessons and choral experiences with students from age 10-25. This year 150 students are will rehearse in a focused professional environment in order to present two Showcases of the highest quality. The professional choral singers of Kantorei KC will present a set of pieces on each concert AND perform one piece WITH each of the youth ensembles.

SHOWCASE #1
This year, Concert Chorale will be under the direction of Dr. Cameron LaBarr of Missouri State University. He will lead an ensemble of about 45 of the finest High School age singers in the metro. They will perform a widely diverse and exciting program including Bach, Michael McGlynn and James MacMillan.

Choral Scholars is back for its fourth year as KSCI's "original" ensemble . This pre-professional ensemble consists of 30 young singers from 13 different colleges and universities across the country. They will be led by Kantorei's Artistic Director, Chris Munce performing a challenging program ranging from Thomas Weelkes to Chesnakov.
