Joe Charnitski's Funeral.
Joe triumphantly left the small Pennsylvania town in which he was born bound for New York City and great expectations. He was 18 years old. Ten years later he returned, living in his parents house, out of work. running out of money, running out of options. He arrived in April. In May, his father was diagnosed with cancer. His dad would be gone before the summer was over. Joe was left behind, in that small town his dad loved so much, but Joe thought he'd never live in again. How did he get here? What could he do now? Where would his story end?
