This presentation will provide background on the formation of the Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA), the challenges facing our industry, and the NWSA strategic plans for investment in infrastructure.

Speaker: Bari Bookout, Chief Commercial Officer Non-Container

Bari Bookout leads the non-container and commercial strategy teams with the Northwest Seaport Alliance. Bari has more than 25 years of experience in the international shipping industry.Prior to joining the NWSA, Bookout served as the director of commercial strategy for the Port of Seattles seaport. Before that, Bookout spent 18 years on the ocean carrier side of the business, including 15 years with APL, Ltd., in a variety of sales and marketing positions.
