Barrel Aged April Sours Dinner with Goose Island
April Sours welcomes Goose Island's Barrel Room Expert Mike Siegel, who will be at Jimmy's No. 43 for one night pairing some of the company's best aged beers with a tasting menu. Expect surprises, but anticipate the following pairings(subject to change):
Halia - A wild peach sour Saison/Farmhouse Ale - paired with Vegetable "Lumpia" Spring Rolls with sweet Thai chili dipping sauce
Sofie - A wine-barrel aged Saison - paired with Duck Confit Bahn Mi Salad
Madame Rose - a Flanders Oud Bruin style beer - paired with choice of Pork or Chicken "Adobo" braised in soy, garlic, and vinegar over rice
Bourbon County - the always-hard-to-find seasonal beer that we expect to have on draft for the dinner - paired with Banana Bread Pudding with a Stout Caramel Sauce
Vegetarian option also available.
We start promptly at 7PM. Late-comers may not be able to repeat a course, so please be on time. All Sales are final.
