Modern Times Used Barrel Sale!

We just bottled and kegged a ridiculous amount of bourbon barrel-aged Monsters' Park, and now we've got a ton of empty barrels on our hands. While they are making the brewery smell fantastic, they're also taking up a whole lot of valuable beer-making real estate, and we figured that some of you might want to give them a good home.

Currently on offer are 70 used 53-gallon bourbon barrels, used once for aging our Monsters' Park imperial stout. Note that if you plan to use them for aging homebrew, they may be prone to infection since they have already had beer in them once; sour/funky stuff is a safer bet, however.

These puppies are a smokin' deal at $60 a pop, and we'll be throwing a barrel pickup party at the Lomaland Fermentorium on Thursday, April 7th with some rad beers on tap to celebrate your new acquisitions. We'll also have some archive bottles for sale at the merch booth.

The party will be the only time and place for barrel pickup, so make sure you can make it if you're going to purchase one. We cannot hold barrels for folks to pick-up at other times.

A couple notes:

-Again, April 7th, from 12-7PM is THE ONLY TIME FOR BARREL PICKUP. Any barrels not picked up during the window will be refunded and will not be available for later pickup.

-Barrels will be pre-designated, so you won't be able to select your own barrel.

-Make sure you have a vehicle large enough to accommodate a 53-gallon barrel.

-If you're going to use your barrel(s) for aging non-funky/sour beer, make sure you sanitize first!
