The next installment of the Modern Midwest Dinner Series at Niche, brings together the talented forces of two teams pushing the dining scene forward in St. Louis on Thursday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m.
The acclaimed modern Missouri fine dining restaurant will host the Rooster and The Hen, a pop-up series from Michael and Tara Gallina. With the series, executive chef Nate Hereford provides a platform for acclaimed chefs across Midwest cities to showcase their talents and cook alongside the team at Niche.
The five course dinner with two snacks will be $115 with an additional $60 for wine pairings (gratuity is included).
The two chefs are working together to develop the menu, talking with local farmers to see what first of spring ingredients will be available. The dinner will also bring together an unstoppable front-of-the-house service team of Tara Gallina with Niche general manager, Chris Kelling.
Chef Hereford explains, The St. Louis community has been so excited about Michael and Taras return to St. Louis. Our teams share similar philosophies about using whats around us and working with local farmers so it will be fun to see how that translates in the kitchen.
Michael and Tara Gallina share their excitement about collaborating with the Niche team, We've been following what Gerard and Nate have been doing to elevate the dining scene in St. Louis for years. They have been so supportive of us since we even bounced around the idea of moving back and have really helped us get acclimated to the farm and chef community here. It's really full circle to be able to cook with them and bring our ideas together.
