Back by Popular Demand: Public Ghost Hunt at the Van Horn Mansion
Explore Niagara County's Most HAUNTED Mansion...the historic home of the Van Horn family!
Join Beyond Ghosts as we return as your guides for the evening of April 30th, and we navigate the hallways and rooms of the haunted and historic Van Horn Mansion.
Built in 1824, the former home of Judge James Van Horn, has long been shrouded in curiosity and mystery.
Over the course of nearly 200 years, the Van Horn Mansion has been witness to many interesting things at this Property. Unrecorded human remains have been found throughout the grounds, the mansion is rumored to have ties to the Underground Railroad, and a number of deaths have occurred in the home over the many years, a few even seeming perhaps a bit peculiar.
And these are only a few examples.
Folklore and legend in Western New York tells the tale of Melinda Van Horn, the historic location's most prevalent resident spirit, who passed away under somewhat contested and suspicious circumstances back in the mid-1800s...inside the fabled home!
(Melinda Van Horn's historic gravesite is on the property, and you will have the opportunity to visit the location)
Portions of your evening include an light refreshments and snacks, opportunities to use a variety of tools to capture evidence of paranormal phenomena, learn about various forms of Spirit Communication, and you'll have the chance to go behind the scenes at the historic Van Horn...and in an exclusive way, after hours and in the dark looking for ghosts!

Many visitors have claimed to have had experiences while visiting, sharing interaction with a former caretaker named Samuel. Other Mansion hotspots include the basement with its inhabiting Shadow Person, the master bedroom, and the attic, complete with the maids quarters and plenty of reported paranormal activity!
We'll be visiting these areas and many others!
The historic Van Horn Mansion doesn't offer regular paranormal investigative opportunities, so this event is a rare treat for all of us. If you missed out on tickets before, this is your chance!

Saturday, April 30th, from 8pm to 1am. The Van Horn Mansion is located at 2165 Lockport Olcott Road, Burt, 14028.
Please, NO alcohol, drugs, food, or glass bottles permitted in the mansion. Smoking outside only in designated areas. And please, NO occult or religious overtones.
All sales are final. In the rare instance the event is cancelled by an Act of God or similar circumstance, a makeup date will be made available. For entertainment purposes only.
