The Abduction from the Seraglio by W.A. Mozart
Set in eighteenth-century Turkey, Mozart's "The Abduction from the Seraglio" is an exotic spectacle as much as it is a vocal tour-de-force. Eliza O'Malley, Chelsea Hollow, Michael Desnoyers, Ryan Matos, and Nathan Savant present an extraordinary fireworks display of classical fioritura in the Handel Opera Project's latest production of the opera. Mozart's spoken dialogue has been translated into English for the benefit of audiences attending this performance. Please join us for Mozart's homage to some of the most remarkable singers of his day!
