Friends and Fans of the Alameda Music Community and beyond

Once again, we, the Alameda All Stars family, would like to invite you all to attend a very special performance on Saturday, April, 9th, between the hours of 4:00pm to 10:00pm at historic Eagles Hall located at 2305 Alameda Ave. in Alameda.

As many of you already know, Bob Rocko Rhodes passed away suddenly on February 3rd of this yearand that passing left a huge hole in all of our hearts, as well as in our entire Alameda community. So, in an effort to honor him and all that he did throughout his life on the behalf of others in need, on that date we will be hosting a Benefit Concert in Memory of Bob Rocko Rhodes for his wife, Laura Rhodes, in order to help her out financially and lend a hand as she begins to get back on her feet again, on so many different levels.

So, please help us out by spreading the word and inviting as many folks as possible. We need a real grass roots level approach for this one.

Over the years we have had some amazing bands and individual musicians step up and generously offer their services and talents whenever we have organized one of these wonderfully loving events. That being said, we believe that the lineup for this benefit is as good as any weve ever had.

So, with that in mind, the musical lineup and schedule for the benefit is as follows:

4:00 Doors Open

4:30 5:00 David Krull Band

5:15 6:00 Daniel Castro

6:15 6:45 Wild Kingdom

7:15 8:15 The Sun Kings

8:45 9:45 The Alameda All-Stars

Throughout the benefit we will be having a Silent Auction, at which time well be offering a number of very cool music-related items which will be donated from our top shelf stable of fine musicians, promoters, managers, road crew and othersmore about that as we get closer to gig day.

All proceeds from the door & pre-sale tix, as well as from the auction will go to Laura.

So, on behalf of Laura and the rest of the Rhodes family, as well as for all of the musicians, road crew, advertising staff, the folks at Eagles Hall, and others helping to put this benefit together, we humbly and lovingly encourage you to plan on coming down on Saturday, April 9th, and join all of us for an afternoon, evening and night of great entertainment, while at the same time helping out a friend in need, and honoring the memory of one of our own.
