A Cappella - Our Bodies Sing: Hayward
Oakland Ballet Company presents "A Cappella - Our Bodies Sing"
Saturday, April 23, 8 pm
This extraordinary evening of dance and live music embraces the beauty of the unaccompanied human voice in concert with the beauty of the moving body.
This program features three separate works:
- A world premiere by Val Caniparoli.
- A world premiere by Janice Garrett & Charles Moulton.
- The West Coast premiere of Artistic Director Graham Lustigs "Stone of Hope."
Live musical will accompaniment by Bay Area choral groups:
- The Berkeley Community Chorus Singers
- Nona Brown and the Inspirational Music Collective
- Vajra Voices

Seating:
- Seating is general admission and is on a first come first serve basis.
- Accommodations will be made for any special needs.
- The box office and will call open 1 hour before each performance.
- Theater doors open 30 minutes prior to each performance.
Directions to Reed L. Buffington Performing Arts Center
From Highway 880 North or South:
Take the Jackson St / San Mateo Bridge Hwy92 off-ramp heading West towards the San Mateo Bridge. Take the first off-ramp, HESPERIAN Blvd and take the LEFT exit (North). As you exit stay in the far left lane and make a left at the first light onto DEPOT Road. You may now make a right into any of the parking lots on your right ( Lots G & F ) and follow signs to the PAC (Theater).
From the Peninsula / Hwy 101, 280:
Take Hwy92 San Mateo / Hayward Bridge East to Hayward. Exit at HESPERIAN Blvd and turn left at the light. Proceed over the overpass, make a left at the first light onto DEPOT Rd. and then turn right into parking lots G or F.
From Hwy 580:
Take Hwy238 connector to Hwy880 South. Take the Jackson St / San Mateo Bridge Hwy92 off-ramp heading West towards the San Mateo Bridge.
