Événement

Bathtub
For Katharine, sex and violence are interchangeable with motherly love. So when her son Theo refuses to continue their deviant escapades, a new, deadly rule is added to their bizarre game. Throw in an order of Thai noodles and an overly-friendly coroner, what follows is a bleak but humorous exploration of death and friendship.

Lyndsey Bourne (Playwright):

Lyndsey Bourne is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of The Arts with a double major in Drama and Dramatic Writing. In 2011, Lyndsey won the Top Twenty Under Twenty Playwriting Award, and saw her play THE EDUCATION OF JAMIE STEWART developed at The Tarragon Theatre in Toronto, Canada. Her play FOR WOMEN WHO ARE DIFFICULT TO LOVE was selected for performance in the 2013 Tisch Festival of New Works. She is currently the resident playwright at Cue For Passion Theatre Collaborative. She is also a regular contributor for the flash fiction app, Hooked, and a staff writer for Hooligan Mag; her short fiction was recently featured in Paragraph Shorts. Earlier this year she co-wrote the film FISH HOOK AND EYE, which took home the first prize at the 2015 Fusion Film Festival, as well as the Award for Outstanding Screenwriting. In addition to writing, Lyndsey is a dedicated producer and artist liason for Am I Write, Ladies?, a performance series showcasing the work of female artists from every medium.

Max Reuben (Director):

Max Reuben is a playwright, director, sometimes-actor, and founding member of AGGROCRAG  a Brooklyn-based theater company dedicated to creating original plays. His work has been seen at places like The Kraine, Ars Nova, The Culture Project, The Brooklyn Lyceum, The Tank, Underground Arts, and a cool apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Recent credits include: We Hope You're Out There (The Gallery Players Theatre); Gun City (Dixon Place); BLIND DATE (AGGROCRAG); Trojans (FGP Playground Playgroup). Upcoming: This Story Could Be Your Life (workshopped at FGP's BRB retreat) and An Untitled Horror Play (AGGROCRAG). He also performs with the Brooklyn Soundpainting Company, and has been directing Gentlemen Party's semi-monthly sketch comedy shows at The People's Improv Theater since 2012. He currently teaches first year playwriting at Playwrights Horizons Theater School, an undergraduate drama studio at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
