A workshop for artists interested in selling their art!

This workshop will be lead by experienced artists and business owners and will explore what you need to know about starting a small art business. After the presentations, there will be an opportunity for one-on-one consultation with our artists and entrepreneurs.

Christine Malek
Christine is a local artist and owner/manager of Gallery Boom in Tumwater. Her art business, Vidaliah Crafts, has been selling fine handmade stuffed creatures and crafts from recycled clothing in the south sound for the past five years. Gallery Boom is Tumwater's first all local art gallery and shows over 30 local artists.

Ross Cowman
Ross is an internationally acclaimed musician and game designer with over 10 years of experience in the publishing industry. A crowdfunding veteran, Ross has successfully funded 6 projects via Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and GoFundMe.

Joanne Lee, The Natural Coach
Joanne is a business and personal coach with a locally based practice founded in 1998, as well as a trainer and public speaker specializing in business, career and personal development. A practicing artist with four decades of creating and showing art, Joanne recently published a how-to manual called CREATE! Accessing Depth Creativity, Divine Guidance and Universal Wisdom at Will.

Laney Clark, Artist
Laney has been designing, fabricating and selling her art jewelry for over 20 years. On the days she is not in the studio,
you can find her selling her artwork, in person, at the Farmers Market, Splash Gallery and many local art shows in Olympia.
Her work can also be found online on Etsy where she has been selling successfully for over 9 years.
