Still looking for that perfect gift for the beer lover in your family? Take time out on Saturday, December 12 at 2:00pm to learn about The Great Chicago Beer Riot, an iconic event in the history of the German community in America. Authors John Hogan and Judy Brady will read from their new book, talk about what inspired it, respond to questions, and sign copies of their newest release from Arcadia Publishing and The History Press. A selection of German beer and pretzels will be available for sale during this hoppy event. After the book presentation, attendees will be treated to a guided tour of the "Lost German Chicago" exhibit in the DANK Haus Museum.
