Small Business Lunch at Halls

The Hall Family and the King Street Marketing Group are excited to present Lily Garfield as our speaker at Small Business Lunch at Halls Thursday, May 10.

The President and Owner of Cos Bar began her business as a single store in the beautiful resort town of Aspen, Colorado. Since then, Garfield has opened Cos Bar Boutiques in chic spots like Vail, Santa Fe, Scottsdale, Palm Desert, Santa Barbara, Carmel, and Wailea, Hawaii. With boutiques now numbering twelve including Charleston's King Street store, Garfield strategically brings personally selected skincare and cosmetics from the world's finest and most prestigious collections to areas where department stores are missing or inconvenient to reach.

Another part of Garfield's business strategy is to develop teams of consultants with a wealth of knowledge about each brand carried by Cos Bar. "As an employer, I put my staff first. The most important business tip I've learned is to ensure my employees are happy, and I do what I can to empower them to succeed."

Cos Bar is about to become one of the first five exclusive specialty stores in the Shops at Target project, as they partner to co-create affordable, limited-edition collections for its guests. Each month, Small Business Lunch at Halls features a distinguished speaker from the business, civic or political arenas upstairs at Halls Chophouse with imaginative mid-day cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Matthew Niessner.

Halls Chophouse is located at 434 King Street in downtown Charleston. Parking, validated at the event, is available at the Visitors Center Garage on Ann Street between King and Meeting Streets. Doors open at 11:30; lunch is served at noon.
