Tri-Chapter Tour & Dinner Presentation of the new Rental Car Center (RCC) at the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (SDCRAA)
A joint meeting of the San Diego and Orange County Chapters of CSI, the NewSchool of Architecture & Design, and the San Diego Chapter of the Society for Design Administrators (SDA).

LOCATION:
SDCRAA Administrative Offices (former Lindbergh Field Commuter Terminal)
Registrants will congregate in the parking lot (MAP) where Red Buses #2 & #3 will load up (at 3:45 PM) and proceed to the Elevated Departure Roadway (EDR or Smart Curb) for a drive-by photo shoot on their way to the RCC for a 4:00 PM arrival.
Because it will be near sunset, registrants will proceed directly to the West Core area via escalators or Grand Staircase, thus emerging at the Restaurant (Warm Shell). There they will view Lindbergh Field, the FBO, Point Loma and the city beyond. From there they will proceed down to Level 1 for a short tour of the Ready Return (RR) areas, then to the Quick Turn Around (QTA) areas, the Customer Service Building (CSB), Open Air Lobby, curbside and the tensile fabric structures. Finally, everyone will board the buses for return to the SDCRAA Admin. Offices where they will be escorted to the second floor, Orville & Wilbur Wright Conference Rooms for a spacious view of the "Jewel of SAN."
Upon arrival, registrants will be met with a catered dinner and slideshow. Following the dinner presentation, CSI SD attendees will proceed back to their cars parked at SDCRAA Admin. Offices parking lot. (Parking tickets will have been previously validated.)
In the weeks following, participants will receive a survey to develop lessons learned.
LADIES: Please ... no dresses, or open-toed shoes, or pumps or high heels. Just good ol' walking shoes (tennies are okay).
Not to be sexist and conforming to Title 10 ... GENTS: No smoking, chew or cigars.

CSI SD Emerging Professional, Retired & Emeritus Members: $13.00
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTRATION:
LIMITED SPACE IS AVAILABLE AND PREFERENCE FOR RESERVATIONS WILL BE GIVEN TO CSI MEMBERS ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS. AFTER FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH, REMAINING SPACE WILL BE OPENED UP TO NON-MEMBER ATTENDEES AS WELL AT A COST OF $40 PER PERSON. Questions? Email: admin@sandiegocsi.org
WALK-INS will not be accepted.
CANCELLATIONS: Refunds will only be given for cancellations received before noon on Monday, November 9th.
NO SHOWS: Payments for no-shows will be retained in full.
